India got the first medal in the paralympics London 2012 . The Paralympics is the olympic events for the physically challenged persons after held 30th Olympics London . This year the Second major tournament paralympics events .After a long struggle in London Olympics India got six medals in total including two silver and four bronze medals.But in the Great Para olympics . 19 Indians participated, in which India got first medal in the high jump event. Karnataka athlete Girisha Hosangara Nagarajegowda of 24 years got the silver medal in the high jump. He jumped 1.74 metres and won silver medal.
Nagaraja Gowda was attacked by Polio to his left Leg, and salute to a great India. . .
